2. Add Modulator Treatment
Set your schedule. Get timely messages.
Why? Let OnTrackCF know your modulator schedule so that messages come at a relevant time.
How? There are 2 ways:

1. From Your Tasks
-
Click on this task.
-
Tap Add Dose Schedule to set the times when you usually take your modulator.
-
Tap Save.
2. From My Modulator
-
Click on My Modulator.
-
Click the (...) symbol in the upper right corner.
-
Select Edit Modulator.
-
Tap Add Dose Schedule to set the times when you usually take your modulator.

Tips
-
You can set multiple schedules (for example, one for weekdays and one for weekends).
-
Setting your schedule does NOT set your modulator-taking goal. To set a goal, follow the instructions under Set Modulator Taking Goal.
-
Update Your Dose Schedule anytime your prescription or schedule changes, so messages come at a time that is right for you.
3. Set Your Modulator-Taking Goal
Goals can be motivational. Improves personalized feedback.
Why? Setting a goal for how many times a week you want to take your modulator lets you know what you are aiming for and if you’ve been successful. Specific goals are more motivating and helpful than general intentions.
How? There are two ways:

1. From Your Tasks
-
Click on this task.
-
Enter how many doses of your modulator you would like to take.
2. From My Modulator
-
Click on My Modulator on the landing page.
-
Click the Set Your Modulator-Taking Goal.
-
Enter how many doses you would like to take weekly.
Tips
-
If you are prescribed to take a modulator twice a day, that is 14 expected doses a week.
-
Set a realistic goal. For example, set a goal to take your modulator 2-3 more times than you usually do.
-
You can change your goal if it was too ambitious or too low.
-
Once you consistently reach your goal, we will suggest increasing it to keep your progress going.
-
Setting your goal does NOT set your modulator schedule. To change your modulator taking times, follow the instructions under Add Modulator Treatment Schedule.
-
Update your goal as needed to improve the feedback you get and track your success.
4. Connect your smart button
Can make tracking modulator use easier.
Why? The smart button may make it easier to track when you take your modulator.
How?
-
Click Settings.
-
Click the menu item that says smart buttons. Follow the in-app instructions.
-
To connect the smart button to OnTrackCF, ensure Bluetooth is enabled and the app is open.
-
A GREEN light means your button is connected. Just click and go!
-
An ORANGE light means the smart button is not connected.
-
Tips
-
The smart button registers in the app only when the two are connected by Bluetooth. If Bluetooth is disconnected, the smart button does not save or transmit uses.
-
For best performance, keep Bluetooth turned on and the OnTrackCF app open in the background.
-
The ORANGE light means the smart button is not connected via Bluetooth. Ensure Bluetooth is enabled and the OnTrackCF app is open, then follow the in-app instructions to reconnect your button.
-
Check periodically to make sure your button is working and connected.
-
Track taking your modulator daily to accurately show your patterns. If you forget to click that you took your modulator, go into My Modulator and add that you took it.
5. How Am I Feeling?
Track your symptoms
Why? Tracking your symptoms can help you understand how taking your modulator affects how you feel, and vice versa.
How? There are two ways to track your symptoms:
-
Use the How Am I Feeling questionnaire to get you started or when you want to track several symptoms at once.
-
The Tracker Library allows you to pick individual symptoms important to you. Your most recently used trackers will be shown at the top of the page.
Tips
-
You don’t need to track all symptoms. Track those that are important to YOU.
-
Symptoms don’t have to be related to your modulator.
-
You can make a note about what might have contributed to how you were feeling.
-
Consider tracking even when you don’t have the symptom. This can reveal patterns, including how symptoms are related to one another.
-
The How Am I Feeling questionnaire will appear daily in Tasks for the first two weeks, and weekly thereafter.
6. Turn On Notifications
Needed to receive personalized messages
Why? Notifications are how OnTrackCF sends you personalized messages.
How?
-
Keep your app notifications turned on in your phone settings! This is all you need to do.
Tips
-
These messages are based on behavioral science and the information YOU put in the app—they may be the most helpful feature!
-
The more you track your modulator use and how you are feeling, the more personalized the messages.
-
On average, you will get two messages a day, timed around your modulator schedule.
